Drink. From. Life. - Inspired by Gene Key 56, Divine Gift of Intoxication

The cosmic weather right now is the theme of Fire & Water (70% of the planetary energies).

Hot (summer heat) & wet (typhoon here in Hong Kong, flood in some of parts of the world).

Emotional highs & lows.

The story in the sky goes:

Sun: Feel your full range of emotions (Cancer)

Mercury: Keep opening your mind and expanding conversations (Cancer)

Venus: Love passionately (Leo)

Mars: Fight for love (Leo)

Moon: Feel your inner truth with radical honesty (Sagittarius)

Neptune: Keep dreaming and connecting with Spirit (Pisces, Sun trine Neptune). Probably that’s how you could escape from all these intense motions up in the cosmos

On Jul 16, Chiron, the ‘Wounded Healer’, turned retrograde (and will be in retrograde for the next 5 months until Dec 20), which demanded that we slow down and face our wounds and shadows.

‘As above, so below.’

On the day that Chiron went retrograde, I moved my two girls (3- and 5-year-old) into the same bedroom. Since then, getting them to fall asleep together, managing their differing sleep patterns while losing a lot of my own sleep, have triggered a lot of my own emotions and fears.

During the day, the girls have been regularly resisting going to the new summer school and different camps due to change of schedules and unfamiliarity.

Yesterday, we had typhoon in Hong Kong and the school was canceled. After a happy playdate with one of our neighbors, my elder one came down with a sudden, symptomless fever in the afternoon.

Tonight, 36 hours later, her fever is still running high at above 39°C.

My girl with the cooling gel sheet to cool her down.

So much heat. Physically and energetically. How shall we cool it down? Maybe alcohol could help?

Coincidentally (or not), the Sun is transiting through Gene Key 56 from Jul 19 to Jul 24. The 56th Gene Key contains the divine gift of Intoxication.

Okay not my kind of alcohol intoxication, but to feel and entertain all the emotions and richness of life. To DRINK from life.

"True entertainment involves laughter, inspiration, wonder and ultimately intoxication."

— Gene Key 56

Intoxication is to drink. from. life.

"To drink life in through our mouth and not be afraid of the senses.

Drink well and deep, and that totality that deep trust in the form will naturally lead to its own transcendence."

— Richard Rudd

“Want to drink some wine?”

As I was typing these words after settling my elder one to sleep, my husband came to ask.

He just bought a bottle of Moscato on his quick run to the store to get some more cooling gel sheet for our daughter’s fever.

“Sure! It’s been quite a day,” I gladly agreed.

After the ‘cooling’ drink, I went to brush my teeth while scrolling my social media feed. Then on top of the feed someone shared a book that she re-read today.

The Guru Drinks Bourbon

“I bought this book many years ago and read part of it on and off. I re-read it today, and it was just right. As if I haven’t read it before; or to be precise, I haven’t truly understood it.

So we say, time is an illusion. We never miss anything. Everything is in divine timing.”

— Translated by Crystal

The name of the book?

<The Guru Drinks Bourbon?> by Khyentse Norbu.

What synchronicities. What an intoxicated life.

Thank you, Universe, for filling me with divine alcohol tonight.

Here is to Divine Intoxication.

Sending love & light,

-Crystal
