On Timing - Inspired by Gene Key 5 - Gift of Patience

I have been thinking about "timing" and patience lately, which is related to Gene Key 5 (or Gate 5 in Human Design). It's also in the sign of Sagittarius (which I have a lot in my chart).

So you get the sense - it's about "time".

When I'm impatient, I'm actually feeling the unease and restlessness of comparison.

"Other people seem to be doing so much so quickly" and "why I'm standing still?"

Here are a few intuitive hits from the Akashic Records and oracle cards (by Rebecca Campbell):

1. "Timing is a spiral staircase." says the spirit.

On a spiral staircase, you may feel disoriented, and seemingly moving backward or not going anywhere.

Take a moment to look down below and see how much you've ascended.

2. Timing is about stopping micromanaging the Universe.

Move from a place of "trying to" to a space of "being led".

Don't think you're weak if you're not 'pushing' and 'forcing'.

It takes greater strength to relinquish control of micromanaging.

3. Timing is about saying YES when you mean it, 100%, no doubt, no ‘hmm’...

Say YES when you mean NO leads to resentment, bitterness or disempowerment.

Say YES ONLY when you know it in your belly, that you are able to give unconditionally.

Do you feel that YES now? If not, then probably it's not the time yet.

P.S. How being Sagittarius is about cultivating patience? Is Sagittarius easily impatient?

Oh yes.

Sagittarius is in the Fire element. It's about going big and bigger; it doesn't do moderation, like a Santa Claus.

So the path of Patience is about putting Sagittarius' natural 'big-ness' into good use, by simply listening to the bigger clock, and seeing a bigger picture.

The key, at the end, is about pausing, to see how far you’ve come already, acknowledge that you don’t need to ‘push’ all the time, and know it in your gut that it’s a ‘hell YES’.
